Fort de la Tine

Brothy, fruity, balanced

Fromages Spielhofer SA is a cheese producer and handler in Saint-Imier, a small town in the Bernese Jura. A family company with less than 100 staff, their work is characterised by tradition, passion, craftsmanship and proximity to nature.

Fort de la Tine A1652 gets its name from the military bunker A1652, where the cheese is stored and matured. A rustic cheese which is aromatic with hints of mushroom and a pronounced fruity baseline.  This raw-milk cheese is as creamy as it is fruity, this is a cheese that is well balanced on the palate. The flavour is full bodied, savoury and delicious; reminiscent of French Onion Soup.
